What is a Sprite?
Sprites are one of the many dangerous
mythical creatures. They grow from one
and a half to three feet tall, and usually wear hoods so their face will not
show. Adult sprites, which can be
stronger than three fully grown men, have skin that almost nothing can
penetrate through. Their species have no
pity for the dead. They have razor sharp
teeth and claws that can break through any metal. Their skin is green and slimy but hairless,
and their faces are all wrinkled. A
sprite’s eyes are just slits and they have gills instead of noses. Their stomach has a strong acid that can
digest anything. There are 3 types of
sprites: water sprites, fire sprites, and
grass sprites.
Special Abilities
Grass sprites have the unique power that
can make grass grow and constrict anything.
Fire sprites can summon demons from the depths of hell and engulf
anything into flames. Fire sprites can
also control heats of 678 degrees Celsius and more. Water sprites can freeze anything and make
water into solids, gas, or liquid and control it at will. All have very good hearing and can smell
blood more than one mile away. Some
sprites have the power to manipulate anything to levitate and hit what they
want.
A Sprite’s Life
They hatch from eggs. They’re born
only where there are eclipses (lunar or solar).
Few sprites have a violent birth.
When they hatch they feel hungry so they might kill their parents for
food. Sprites have to eat a ton of food
every five days and if they don’t they could die. When they mature they eat less than
before. They could last a whole week
without any water. They could also last
temperatures of 890 degrees Celsius.
They do not mate. The female can
hatch an egg without a male. The male
can also hatch an egg.
Favorites
Sprites have
favorites of everything. They have
favorite foods, a favorite type of
music, etc. Their favorite food is the
platypus. They especially like the eggs,
which they sometimes store for the winter.
They like music that sounds like nails scratching a blackboard. They don’t really sing but sometimes they
screech when they hear the music. They
also have favorite friends. They usually
like to befriend another mythical creature called the efreet. They like that particular creature because
they both have mostly the same favorites.
Shelter
Even though
the sprites could last really harsh weather, they still prefer different types
of climates. The grass sprite prefers to
live in forests and near lakes. Fire
sprites usually live deep under ground and only come out to eat. Water sprites like to live deep in the oceans
where they get what they need. Each type
usually lives in groups of its own kind.
